THE PROJECT
DESCRIPTION
OBJECTIVES
TECHNOLOGIES AND METHODOLOGIES
The heart of the project lies in the application of scientific methodologies integrated with advanced technologies. The use of GPS collars makes it possible to monitor the behavior and location of animals in real time, while satellite imagery and GIS models provide in-depth data on the status of pastures and natural resource management. Artificial intelligence and machine learning tools are used to process large amounts of collected data to create predictive models to optimize grazing and feeding strategies. In addition, a special focus is placed on assessing the quality of livestock products through chemical and nutritional analysis.
MISSION AND IMPACT
The mission of the TeAMa project goes beyond improving farming conditions: its aim is to contribute to a cultural and technological transformation of the sector. By promoting the adoption of innovative technologies, the project aims to ensure the economic and social survival of marginal rural areas, revitalizing them and making them attractive to new generations. On the environmental front, TeAMa is committed to preserving biodiversity and reducing the ecological impact of livestock farming, while on the economic front it aims to increase the profitability of livestock farmers, ensuring that they play a central role in the production chain and sustainable developmen.
